*Final Progect

Our topic is “Ecology”. Now, let’s study some vocabulary related to ecology.

Vocabulary
1) abiotic factors:non-living elements of the ecosystem (temperature & moisture)
2) biosphere : surface and atmosphere of earth in which plants and animals can live
3) biotic factors : living parts of the environment
4) carrying capacity : maximum number of organisms an area can support, hold and stand
5) habitat : the place where a particular type of animal or plant is normally found
6) herbivore : any animal that eats meat
7) limiting factors : space, water availability, oxygen amount, sunlight
8) nonrenewable resources : once they are gone, the environment won't produce anymore in your lifetime
9) renewable resource : something used that the environment will continue to produce
10) symbiotic relationships : different species living together
11) natural resources : any part of the environment used by humans for their benefit (soil, water, plants, & animals)
