*TOEIC

Tomorrow( actually today) I have a TOEIC test.

Some people say they prefer EIKEN to TOEIC because EIKEN is lifetime qualification. Even if I got a good score with TOEIC test, it is 2 years qualification. We have to continue to have test to keep the score. Some people don't like to continue to have test.
However, I want to continue because studying language doesn't have any limitation. So, I want to keep studying English and improve my skill!;)

This time, I didn't have enough time to study for it because I was busy with studying for tests.
Therefore I'm not sure that I can get best score..XD
Umm,,,but I will do my best!!!

P.s I tried to show the pictures of sister's wedding. But, the computer has some problem so that I can't show them. Therefore I will try it again with the computer of school next Monday.

*Project☆

I introduced my home town where I love.
Here is the URL I posted it.
http://wikitravel.org/en/Kisarazu

"There is a mountain park called “Odayama”. Also there is one more name here. It is “love forest”. There is a main tower which is called “Kimisarazu tower” on the top of the mountain park in KIsarazu. You can see the big statue of a couple on the ship (it is also statue). Kisarazu has a tragedy love story in their history. And the statue was made after this history. Once upon a time, a man named “Yamato-takeru-no-mikoto” and his wife named “Oto-tachibana-hime” were living with together. One day, “Yamato-takeru-no-mikoto” was trying to across the sea to go to “Kazusa-no-kuni” where present “Chiba” is. However the sea was very stormy and his wife thought that it an anger of sea god. And then, she threw herself into the sea to soothe the anger. After he could get his destination safety though her death, he left one poem for his wife. “Kimisarazu
Sodeshi-ga-ura-ni-tachunami-no
Sono-omokage-wo-miruzo-kanashiki”
「君さらず 袖しが浦に立つ波の その面影をみるぞ悲しき」 in JapaniseIt means “I could get here, but when I see the sea from here , it reminds me of you. I can’t leave here because I miss you so much” Where he left this poem is “Kisarazu”. His poem became the origin of a city name “Kisarazu”. Also it is said that he couldn’t leave there for a long time. The tower has a sad but very romantic love story. "

*My sister will.....??

My sister will get married tomorrow! ;) And we will attend the wedding! I’m sooooooooo exciting now! It is not first time for me to attend the wedding, however, this time, the bride is my sister!;) Sorry, I have to get ready for tomorrow. Therefore, I will tell you about her wedding tomorrow again. Also I will post some pics of her wedding!!;)

Well, see you tomorrow!!;)

*What should I do?

I applied for one company to join the internship during this summer.
However, I couldn’t pass because the company I applied is very famous and popular among university student.
I thought I will apply for other companies again, however, I also thought I can do other things instead of internship.
I’ve told you before that I’m interested in English for kids and want to lean English from (American or the other countries) kids.

As you know, kids say “Yummy” instead of “Delicious”, like that.

Now, I’m thinking that I want to take care of kids as their baby sitter or something and learn practical English from them. I’ve heard that it is possible to do like that as volunteering.( If I want to “work” as baby sitter, I need a certificate of it. )

I want to join some internship to lean about “company” and “what the real working is”.
However, if I have a chance to do some volunteering like I said, I prefer to it than internship. It would be a good study for me, if I want to get a job which is concerned with “English for kids”. That is why I want to prefer to volunteer that internship.

But,,,,first, I have to look for some family that I can do some volunteering there. It is not so easy of course. Ummmm, or,,,,,is it better to join the internship?

I’m worrying that what I should do this summer…x(

*Capricciosa!;)

I went to the Italian restaurant named "Capricciosa" with my friend, Megumi.
We were studying at school library till 21:00. When I was writing some reports, Megumi was using computer and doing something. I thought she was also writing reports or something. However, she was searching some food instead of doing her HW. haha
She was sooooo hungry and couldn't endure. And she found some discount tickets that we can use at "Capricciosa". Luckily, there is "Capricciosa" very near our uni and it open till 23:00 or so. Therefore we decided to have dinner!!;) I used to go to the restaurant with my family before. ;)
Have you ever been there?
I said I love the restaurant called "FRIDAY'S" before. Also I love this restaurant, too!!;)
Their Italian foods are delicious!:)
And it has amicable,,,,umm,,,very warm atmosphere.

In addition, you can have birthday party here, too!;)
I recommend this restaurant if you want to relax and enjoy having meal♪
I think "FRIDAY'S" is more international than "Capricciosa".

Anyway! What I want to say is that I really enjoyed having good meal and talk with my best friend, Megumi!!;)

*July 7th...☆

July 7th is the Tanabata Matsuri, or the Star Festival. This has its origin in ancient China.
It was said that on the evening of July 7th, Weaver Star (Vega) in the west coast of the Milky Way and the Hordboy Star (Altar) in the east coast are allowed to meet each other only once a year.
In that day, It is said that if you write your dream or hope on a small paper called Tanzaku and hang it on a bamboo leaf, it will come true
I wrote some hopes on a paper and wished.
Did you wish something?? I hope your dream come true.;)

Also, when I got home at 23:30(I was studying at school till 21:00 with some of my friends.), I found a parcel for me. I checked from where and whom. And I was surprised!! Because it was sent from America by my American friend TOKI who I introduced you before on this blog.)
He really likes playing basketball and I also love dancing, so he sent me some bags, T-shirt for doing some sports!;)
Also he gave me a letter.;) He said he will come to japan sooooon!!;) I can't wait~~!! Well, I really like these wonderful gifts!! I will call him tomorrow to say "THANK YOU!!" Today is the Star festival, is it a coincidence?

<Place>
1)“Last Supper”
Do you know the wall painting “Last Supper”?
I’ve seen one Leonardo da Vinci’s work once in London!!!;)

It was very touching painting!! Then, I began to crazy about his work.
In the refectory of the dominical convent adjoining the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, houses one of the world's most celebrated works: Leonardo da Vinci's "Last Supper".
"Painted between 1494 and 1498 under the rule of Ludovico il Moro, Leonardo abandoning the traditional method of fresco painting, depicted the scene "a secco" on the wall of the refectory.
Upon completion however, it was documented that this technique and environmental factors

had contributed to the eventual deterioration of the fresco that has undergone numerous restorations.
The most recent being 1999, where various scientific methods were employed to restore the original colors and where possible to remove the traces of paint applied from previous attempts to restore the fresco.
Extensive measures have been implemented to protect the fresco from further exposure. To ensure that the fresco be kept at room temperature, since restoration the visitor intake has been restricted to a group of 25 admitted every 15 minutes. "

I really wnat to see this wall painting. It will impress me and change my world.

2)Blue Grotto (Grotta Azzurra)

"Blue Grotto (Grotta Azzurra) - The Blue Grotto is a beautiful cave at the water's edge with a tiny opening to the sea that opens and closes with the tide, used as a bath since the Roman times. The entrance is small and depending on the tide there is just enough space for only a small rowboat to get through. Dark at the entrance, one has to enter 20-30 yards and then turn around to view the beautiful sight of the light from the entrance flowing through the water lit turquoise from below by the sun. You'll be amazed at the turquoise hues glimmering in the water and against the rocks. The grotto often closes due to tides and waves, and it may take a while for your boat to get in, with many other boats trying to do the same. "

This place is very famous and we can see this place on TV which introduce some great tour. And it it looks so visionary, isn't it?
http://wikitravel.org/en/Capri

3) "Civita di Bagnoregio!"

I didn't know that there is beautiful place in Italy like this. This is called "the town on the sky". This place looks like not real world, but the world in the fairyland.

It is so amazing I think. I want to get there if I can go to Italy!!

I got these photos from here.

*Dormitory life☆

☆Let me tell you about dormitory life I loved☆
Have you ever experienced living in dormitory of school with about 100 student?
When I was in junior college I have lived in dormitory of the college. My college is located in Hadano, Kanagawa. (but it is almost near Hakone..)
It takes about more than 2 hours to go to school from my hometown, it means I have to spend about 5 hours a day every day. I wanted to spend my time for studying to transfer to 4 years university. Therefore I decided to live in the dormitory and my parents also recommended it, too. And then, I started to live in the dormitory with about 100 girl’s student together. Can you imagine the life with 100 girls together?:) lol

The dorm (dormitory) is located in inside of the college. So, it takes about only 2 or 3 min to class room!;) It is the privilege of the student who lives in the dormitory, including me!;) lol

However!!!
Our dormitory has many severe rules for living in the dorm.

1) You have to get up at 7:30 to clean up the dormitory for 30~40 min every morning, including Saturday.(the work is divided for each of the students, for example, washing bathroom, sweeping the entrance or corridor, wiping the windows, cleaning the dining room and so on…)

2) After finished to clean up, you go to school cafeteria to have breakfast and go back to the dorm again to prepare for school.

3) First class begins at 9:20. In the lunch time we can go back to the dorm to have lunch. You don’t need to have lunch at school cafeteria. Also, you can come back and sleep in your room till next class beginning. (However some students sometimes overslept and come late for class.)

4) Your dinner time starts from 17:45 at school cafeteria. (your breakfast and dinner are served everyday, except weekend) But!! You have to finish having dinner by 19:00!!From 19:00 to 22:00 is your free time. ;)

5) During this free time, you can take a bath. But you must not take a bath more than 30 min and wash hair inside of the bathroom. The students are divided into 12 groups of 8 students. And each group can use each bathroom. So, it means 8 students use one bathroom. Also you can use hot water from 18:30 to 23:00!! CAN YOU BELIEVE?! We can’t use hot water after 23:00. EVERY SEASON! Also you have to wash our hair in the sink. ( When I missed the time can use hot water, I sometimes washed my hair with cold water.:( haha)

6) Dorm door locked at 22:00. If you don’t come back by this time, you have to take a penalty!!

7) After 23:00, the kitchen is locked and you can’t go into there. It means you can’t take anything out of refrigerator after 23:00.

8) Oh!! Also you can’t have TV inside of your room. There are 2 TVs in the dorm,,,so,,,you have to share using them with other 99 students. haha

9) Of course there are no air conditioner inside of your room and dorm. ;)
Only it is soooooooo cold day, you can use it for very short time.

10) After 23:00. You must not go out from your room. (However, if you don’t make big noisy sound you can go to friend’s room or studying room and so on…)

11) You must not stay out all night without permission of sister’s who take care of us.
If you want to stay out, first, you have to call your parents and tell them about when, where, and who with…like that. Second, your parents call the dorm (sister) and tell about the detail. After that you can get permission to stay out.

We have more rules about living in the dorm. However, it is impossible to write down here all of them! haha If we don’t keep these rules we have some penalty( do you wanna know??haha) or….have to leave the dorm.:(
Of course, my dormitory life was not so easy but I met many wonderful friends there!!;)
How can I explain….? We could become one big family through living with together.
Sometimes we have small troubles because 100 students live with together everyday.
There are 100 people in the dorm, it means there are 100 kinds of way of thinking or feeling. That’s why I loved the dormitory life. ;)
I can learn many ways of thinking or feeling and so on. And it gives me some hints when I get in trouble. Also there was nothing that I couldn’t do, because many friends always helped me whenever I needed someone’s help.
If you have experience of living in the dorm, you can realize the importance of friendship or how much you are loved by your parents or how much you are happy now.
I learned that my life are made of a lot of love!!;) And I have to appreciate for it;) I can say that this dormitory life for 2 years changed my life!;) Also I can say “I am happy!!”
P.s I tried to upload the video I took at our farewell party, but sorry I couldn't.

Also, when I was shaping potatoes into like this ↑, my mom said that these looks like bombs!!
It meant too big! She advised me to shape them into more flat patties. Therefore I retried to shape them.

I want to make "Potato-Mochi" again! And next time, I want to try stuffing other foods( not only cheese) into potato. If I try making it again, I will post a blog about it.

*How to go to school♪

I live in Kisarazu, Chiba now. And I go to uni by bus and train. It takes about 2 hours to get school from my house. It means I spend 4 hours a day everyday. It was no so easy of course, but I enjoy my commuting time♪;)

When I am on the bus, if it's sunny day, I can see very beautiful sky like this!;)Can you imagine where the bus is running down? Of course, the bus is running down on the road. lol

BUT....actually the bus is running down the long bridge over the sea. I love seeing this view from the window♪;)And also the bus passes the tunnel under the sea. (do you understand?)I go across the sea by bus everyday!;) haha It is amazing commutation, isn't it? Kisarazu is famous for this bridge and load. Does anybody know the name of this load?
This load is very useful, but ....a little bit expensive! XD

*English for kids

You know, in Japan, English will become one of compulsory subject at elementary school from 2010. So, English for children is getting popular recently.

When I was in junior college I belonged to some clubs there. BTC is one of clubs I was belonged to. The name “BTC” is “Baby teachers circle”. In this club, we will become baby English teacher. Do you understand? lol

We visit some elementary schools or kinder gardens regularly (once or twice a week) to teach English to kids.

I had taken charge of one class, and I had taught them English. I can’t speak Japanese at all during I have English class. I have to teach English in English, response to children’s questions or reactions in English, explain the rule about game in English and so on…

It is not so easy of course, because I am not mature English teacher, but just student. However for children I am their English teacher. Therefore I tried to do my best.
I’ve studied “English for kids” at junior college, and got a certificate of English teacher.
It is just only for children at elementary school. It means I can teach English only at elementary school. BUT!! It’s enough for me.

I was sooooo impressed by children!! They have unlimited possibilities!!
And I felt that it's up to us whether their unlimited possibilities can improve or not. Therefore,
I want to keep studying about "English for kids", and if I have a chance I want to teach...not teach...enjoy English communication with kids!! (just like volunteer work I had done)

* My little brother

Today, I'd like to introduce my little brother to you.:)
He was born when I was in elementary school. He is 11 years old now.
He is so smart, so cute and so friendly!!

Here is some pictures of my little brother!;)

His name is "HAPPY"!!lol I gave him this name when he came to my house. And now, of course he is a member of my family!! I gave this name with a big wish that he can always be happy!!
Also he likes running around of the yard like that! haha
but my yard is not so wide so he run around many times till he get tired.

He likes jumping, too! I and he are always jumping. It seems so crazy, I think!
He doesn't really like sit without movement for a long time. I took this pic when I said him "wait". But he looks so uncomfortable. He wants to run, I guess.
And,,,last is this SHOT!! Look at his face!!
How cute he is!!! I like this pic the best!
Whenever I feel loneliness or get shock for something I always stay with him and speak to him about my problems. He can't do anything of course, but just staying with me can heal my heart. Do you understand?? haha
He is getting old now, but I will be near him everyday to make him happy. I can not live
without him. He is my real brother now and I love him sooooooooo much!!

Who is the person(not only person) for you that you can't live without him or her (or other things)?
